In addition to “stocked” DiaThrift straight routers, an endless variety of custom straight PCD router bits are possible. Routers are designed to fit specific applications incorporating features such as high shear angles, segmented or solid cutting edges, and plunge points capable of ramp or vertical boring. Typical functions of straight PCD routers include: trimming, grooving, facing, rabbet and tenon cutting, and cutting nested parts from sheet material.
